The Arc plans, organizes and carries out its Social/Recreational Program for people with developmental disabilities, family, friends and others. The purpose is to provide many opportunities for persons with disabilities to enjoy social and recreational activities with their peers and the larger community. Anyone from any place can attend. All who attend must pay the co-pays when necessary.

How it works:
1. Most activities require a co-payment to help cover the costs of the event.
2. Persons enrolled in MR services may be able to use MR funds for co-pays.
3. If a disabled person needs individual attention, a caregiver must be present at all times. The Arc does not provide substitute caregivers for any of its activities.
4. All disabled individuals must be accompanied by a chaperone on all bus trips.
5. RSVP's are nearly always required. Failure to RSVP by the published deadline may mean that you cannot attend the event. Seating is limited for some events. Those who RSVP first will get the seats.

Self-Advocates will meet together and use technological resources to discover ways to explore and achieve their mission.

Time and location: 10:30am to 11:30am each Monday except Holidays and weather related cancellations. Classes located in conference room to the left of Arc offices at Zion Lutheran Church, 15 South 5th Street, Sunbury, PA. Call Arc office at 570-286-1008 for more details.
